50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Lübbenau. BBE 01/2020 Aroma has roasted malt and metal. Flavour has metallic tones, some roasted malt and licorice. Also diacetyl, butter and cardboard. Not good, too much off-flavours here.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, wth mild citric notes and touches of malt. Sweetish, estery flavour with mild touches of malt and bitter hoppy notes. Bitter and estery aftertaste with acidic notes. Nicht so charaktervoll. Rather watery and anonymous.

Bottle, 4.9% as Freiberger 1863 Julibäums-Pils. Weak fruity aroma. Clear golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is OK malty, slightly dusty and papery. Medium bitterness, slightly rough.
