Bottle. Picked up at green week. Light caramel with a frothy head. Aroma is light smoked malt. Flavour is light sweet with that traditional German smoke taste, not overpowering but nice and simple.

Bottle. Clear amber with a large tan head. Aroma is sweetish caramel. Flavour is sweet, malt with a sugary slightly sour finish.

Bottle picked up at Green week 2013. Clear chestnut with a firm tan head. Aroma is fruit and caramel. Flavour is dark fruit, with a dominant alcohol palate. Fruity and warming finish, velvet texture with no carbonation

Bottle picked up at green week 2013. Clear golden with a thin head. Aroma is citrus hop. Flavour starts off malty and a bit syrupy leading to a strong bitter finish.

Draught at BBF12. Cloudy amber colour. Small stable tan head. Caramelly flavour, a little sweet, perhaps sugary. A fruity sugar note that seems a little off but still entirely drinkable.

Draught at BBF12. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. Good malty flavour, hint of paper. Good bitterness, slightly rough.

[9/30/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Draught at the brewpub in Finsterwalde. Cloudy brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma of wheat, banana, caramel, some bubblegum and some malt. Sweetish flavor of caramel, fruit esters and a touch of clove. Medium-bodied with strong carbonation. Really nice.

[9/30/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Draught at the brewpub in Finsterwalde. Menu says 4.9%-5.4%. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma of caramelly malt, light toastiness and a light vegetal note. Sweetish caramelly flavor with light toastiness and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. OK.

[9/30/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Draught at the brewpub in Finsterwalde. Menu says 4.8%-5.2%. Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of slightly vegetal yeast, a bit of bread and noble hops. Sweetish flavor with a bit of bread and yeast and a pleasant bitter, hoppy, somewhat grassy finish. Light-medium-bodied. Tasty and refreshing.

Berlin beer fest. Murky orange with a medium head. Aroma is soft fruit, banana and apricot. Flavour is fruity wirh a smooth sweetness. Palate is mild.
