Many thanks to rhoihessegold for this bottle. Smooth grainy neutral beginning. The amber malts are there, the body is due to the higher ABV rich and round smooth, but I miss the hops completely. It is a bit more bittered than an average Pils, the caramel malts are round, but there is no hop-flavour. Tastes like this one isn't really dry-hopped. As an Amber-Lager, this one would be nice - but as it wants to be an IPA, this one just fails the characteristics it should have in that style.

Many thanks to rhoihessegold for this bottle. Fruity but more grainy nose. The beer starts smooth and bitter. No floral hops there, only grain with a neutral bitterness. Even for a "normal" Pils, this one would be one of the more boring beers in this style. Easy to drink with not too much aftertaste, dry-grainy, sad in total.

19-05-18 // 330ml bottle. Hazy dark orange. Flaky. Small white head. Malty sweetness, mild fruit hoppy. A bit soapy. Naja.

19-05-18 // 330ml bottle. Hazy yellow. Small white hea d nose is mild hoppy. Well showcasing the Mandarina Bavaria with its typical hop profile. Solid bitterness.

19-05-18 // 330ml bottle. Hazy yellow. Small head. Nose is witbier like. Taste is yeasty, grains, orange sweetness. Minimal spice. Soft.

On tap. Pours a hazy deep yellow color. Malty nose. Medium-bodied with a malty background.

On tap at the brewpub. Trübes dunkel goldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr getreidig, etwa Obst. Geschmack süß malzig, sehr getreidig, wenig hopfig bitter.

Draught @brewpub.  Poured amber in color and hazy, thick white head.  Sulphur notes in aroma,  malty,  light yeasty aroma.  Flavor has malt,  yeast,  light sweetness,  faint fruitiness.  I have had better zwicklbiers for sure.  Aroma was off as well. All in all the drinkability was good.
