Blik gedronken in Xanten tijdens fiets-tweedaagse. Flets-geel bier met weinig schuim. Aroma is moutig. De smaak is iets hoppig maar slap. De nasmaak is wrang.

Found at a random supermarket in Halle, Germany. Has an okay artificial head and clear fake golden body. Smells of a teenage male’s armpit without deoderant just before it is about to get foul. Flavour is soft grain with cloying hints. Medium finish. Drinkable but feels like this could go off the rails at any time, or just the wrong temperature.

500 ml can, from Rewe City, Kieler Bahnhof. Unsurprisingly, the ABV is 5.0%. Crystal clear golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly fresh pilsener aroma, some sweetish malts, some herbal hops. Thin mouthfeel The flavour has a little malty sweetness, followed by bittering hops, which become slightly metallic in the aftertaste. Still better than I feared.
