Description

Hazy, yellow tan. Fluffy head. Underripe apple aroma with a low amount of yeastiness. Wheaty taste with a yeasty backdrop. Very slight banana towards the off-dry finish. Very fizzy/foamy in the mouth and quite wheaty late.

bottle, pours deep gold, thin white head. Bready nose, tons of malt character. Sweet malt, some peppery spice and a light bitter hop finish. Balanced well, very easy to drink, and slightly stronger than most German beers.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a white head. Both the aroma and flavor are plainly sweet malty, while the body is thin.

Dank an MoritzF! BTO 04/2007

Bottle, 5.0%. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite mild, hint of malt. Clean, but not crisp.

Draught. Clear golden colour. Stable rocky white head. The flavour is quite malty, even a little sweet. Has a little chalkiness, other than that just sweet malt. Gets a little sour in the finish after a while. I cannot help but wonder if it had not been better had it not been the first beer out of the tap today.

Bottled(500ml). -Golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy nose. Malty, grassy and hoppy with notes of cardboard. Quite bready in the finish, but still one-dimensional beer.

The bottle looks not bad, but the rabbit looks a bit too funny. The beer is very zippy, nice head. Hoppy and sweet aroma. For a festbier it’s too mild and not complex enough. Starts hoppy-spicy, modest sourish finish. Not so good.

Bottle. Sugary nose, Hazy pale golden, white cream. Surprising amount of unfermented sugar given the beer is so close to its best before date, Ok balance, but crude, peppery residue, quick finish. Boring.
