On draft at Common Roots Outpost, Albany, NY.
Poured into a mug.
Appearance: black color with a thin off-white cap of a head, dissipated quickly to barely leave any lace
Aroma: huge amount of earthy/woody hops, earthy yeast, dark malts and subtle tones of sweet coffee grounds
Flavor: clean sweet dark malts manages to balance with the earthy yeastiness, dark bready aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, some earthy grip on my tongue, some sessionability, finishes with the dark breadiness
Overall: I'd say a nicely done dark lager worthy of returning to.
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Poured into a becher pint glass.
Appearance: burnt orange color with a subtle transparency trying to stroll about. Finger's worth of white foamy head moderately dissipated then no lace.
Aroma: starts with the pumpkin then some cinnamon, subtle earthiness further down
Flavor: moderates between the pumpkin sweetness and the cinnamon spiciness but seems to not exactly mesh all the way, delicate pumpkin-y afteraste with cinnamon
Texture: light to medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Finishes with the pumpkin
Overall, pretty good pumpkin ale, I would return to this next Autumn

16oz can pours a murky black, lots of lacey beige head. Nose is nice. Malt, molasses, coffee grounds, roasted nuts. Flavor is pecans and brown sugar and coffee. Light dried berry too. Medium bodied. Dry. Drinks easier than 9%.

Aromas are mild pumpkin, malt and spice. Flavors are similar to nose with pumpkin and spice coming out more. On the sweet side. Just right carbonation for the style.

From Beer Drop, canned June 12th 2025.
Pours a hazy orange yellow with a 2 finger head of foam, excellent retention and lacing.
Smell is wheat, raspberry, some tart notes, pretty fruity aroma.
The taste is tart and semi sweet raspberry, wheat, fruity as heck, no real need for complexity here.
Medium bodied with crisp carbonation, I would drink this again.
