$20 flip top bottle from one of reps at the Red Hook Holiday Market. Pint glass. Clear, pale gold body. Smells of tart, floral flesh & tannic whiskey wood. A bit fumey, a bit sweet. Really enticing. Taste is a great deal of acid, with the tartness dying down, but not comepletely out. A mild hint of sweetness rounds out the palate. Minerally & full bodied, it puts all that acid to good use. Faintly wine-like, but so much more apple character & curiosity remaining it then many other horridly drained dry whites. Love it.

From tap. Pours pale yellow, small white head. Aroma is dry apples, zesty and mild citric. Dry and crisp apples. Zesty dry finish.

On tap at Strong Rope. Pours a clear gold with medium white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is apple skin and oak. Thin mouth, apple skin, crisp, tart, light dry finish, very good.

Nose is berry and hibiscus. Tastes of pomegranate, hibiscus, some apples, some champagne, dry and fruity. More like a well crafted soda to me. But tasty enough.

Tap at Strong Rope. Clear yellowish cider color smal head. Nose is tart Apple skin. Tastes of Apple skin and meat, white wine, hint of ginger, and grass. Pleasant didn’t know from queens so had to try.

Draft at Covenhoven - Pours yellow white head. Nose/taste of oregano, dry apple core, lemon, spice, citrus hop and pine - lighter medium body.
