Bottle from Altbea wee shop. Definitely not out of production - have seen.it everywhere. Appearance - mat black and opaque. Creamy tan head. Nose - creamy chocolate and sweet malted milk biscuits. Taste - oh, blackberry and black cherry. Still malted milk and chocolate. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. Light malty dry finish. Overall - good ale.

500ml bottle from Spar in Durness. Black with a moderate off white head. Aroma is roasted malt and chocolate, flavour is chocolate, liquorice, a little hop spice

500ml bottle from Spar in Durness, bb 30/11/21, so I guess it's unretired? Hazy amber with a good sized white head. Aroma has orange, caramel, and some strange vegetal notes. Flavour is citrus and toffee with a hefty dose of spice

Panda, thanks to SHIG, split at the Grand Reunion Tasting, Watford 02/10/20. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a light tan cap that clears to edgework. Nose is tangy fruit esters, light cocoa sprinkle, dried fruits, baking powder. Taste comprises raisins, chocolate biscuit, dark fruits, toffee, brown breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok.

Growler shared in Watford - cheers! Pours clear brown with a frothy, light tan head. Lightly sweet with mild ashy roast, earth, dry cocoa, tobacco. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry and ashy finish, bitter cocoa. Not bad.

Growler power thanks to shig. A clear black brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty liquorice, bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet spicy nutty, spicy bark, liquorice, nettle, grass. Palate is semi sweet, bitter, grass. Moderate carbonation. Light tart.

26/9/2020. Bottle shared with / courtesy of SHIG. Cheers! Pours thin very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, ash and caramel. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Light to moderate body, rather watery, average carbonation. Okay.

Bottle shared with Grumbo: Poured a brown with a tan color head. Aroma is light buttery, roast malts, chocolate. Taste is weird malted, roasty, butter, but of a mess.
