Description
At Modist, we push past traditional brewing by embracing creativity and unconstrained experimentation.
This starts with the approach to recipe development taken by our Head Brewer, Keigan. Contrary to starting with a style guideline in mind, then moving forward – he starts with a flavor and experience in mind, then works backward. And since we’ve decided to not be bound by style guidelines, he’s free to use whatever ingredients in any amount with whatever technique he wants to create a new beer experience.
To enable this philsophy and to enhance our creativity, we created a custom built brewhouse that allows us to make the beers we want to make. It’s centered around the region’s first mash filter. This piece of equipment allows us to use any grain in any percentage – and do so while using a fraction of the water and energy of a traditional brewery.

Unfassbar leckere Fruchtbombe, sehr saftig, cremig im Trunk. Auch in der Nase schon sehr deutlich Orange, Mango. Optisch trüb, Schaum passt. Rundum gelungen, lecker Ding.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is 100% chili cheese wow. Not sure if this is a chili dog or cheese chili fries. Nailed this one, pretty good actually

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2023. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong nutmeg and cinnamon with touches of coffee and grain backing. Flavor has some sweet grains and coffee but is really just over powered by the pumpkin spice.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2023. Pours a deep brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong coffee, a bit of maple, earthy dark grains and roasted malts supporting. Flavor is coffee forward with a growing maple, dark grains and roasted malts in the finish.
