Bottle at ChrisOs. It pours deep brown with a quickly dissipating beige head. The nose is earthy, toasty, dirt, caramel, cola and charred stuff. The taste is bitter-sweet, caramel, cola, light spice, residual sugar, muted smoke and earth with a short, sweetish finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty sweet and one-dimensional. Doesn’t do much for me.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy topping. The nose holds light toast, dried berries. Medium sweet flavor with mellow peat, toasted grains, earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Peaty finish with some brown bread, light toffee, lightly tangy semi-dark fruits. Good stuff.

Flaska från SB. Rubinbrun vätska med tunt beigefärgat skum. Doftar tjära, rökhäll och lite syrlig målarfärg. Besk inledning i smaken där rökt korv återfinns. Sedan kommer tandkrämssmak. Lite konstig och underlig smak, kan man tycka. Jag uppskattar den inte.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges and a foamy tan head. Smoked malt, raisins, marzipan and caramel in the aroma. Smoky, fruity and moderately sweet taste with notes of caramel, raisins, sultanas and tar. Nicely balanced and easy to drink, almost too easy, for the abv.

Dark brown almost black color with a small tan layer. Tar, peat and bacon in the aroma. Medium to full body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Tar, smoked malt, toffee and bacon in the flavor. A quite fine balanced ale although it have some really rich flavors. Unfortunatley a bit to flat carbonation.
