Draft. Hazy dark amber brown color, medium white head. Aroma of burnt meat, in a good way. Taste is smoky and just slightly meaty. Subtle enough. Tasty.

Bottle thanks to a colleague who brought this back from a holiday. Hazy gold lasting thin white head. It’s a pleasant pale ale with some citrus hops and some bitterness. It’s clean, perfectly fine and some peach and orange flavours. Very drinkable and a rather nice beer. Fresh tasting.

Draft at Hop City Bham. Clear deep golden color, white head with webby lacing. Aroma of lightly spiced toasted rye bread. Taste is spiced brown bread. Decent.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Back Forty Kudzu Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140417]

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, funky, moderate hoppy, grass - dry grass, horse blanket, leather.
