Caramel malts are really strong in the nose with a bit of apples. The mouth is very malty with hops only appearing in the background. Too malty for the style. Lots of butterscotch. Mildly bitter finish.

Hazy orange with some amber. Aroma is butterscotch, sweet malt, not very hoppy, and caramel malt. Flavor is slightly hoppy with plenty of malt. Some earth tones. Not much of a pale ale. Not bad, but just kinda there.

Slightly hazy orange with an off-white head. Grapefruit hops, grass, some floral, too. Body is a tad thin. Flavor is grassy, grapefruit, and a little caramel malt. Pretty good, but it’s definitly missing something. Tried this again at Aldgate and it was much better than I remember. Much hoppier and fuller flavor. Bumped my score up a few points.

Draught at Popeye’s. Pours a crystal clear gold with a large, off-white head. Soft aroma of malts and slight fruit notes with a touch of yeast. Flavor is similar with more hops presence and sweet malts. Very light, clean body. Light and refreshing.

Light amber color. Nose smells like brown rice and vegemite. Aussie vegans rejoice. Mildly sour brown rice and vegemite mouth, with little hops present. Dry finish. Not exciting, but for all a brown rice ale could be I think this did well.

Med light amber color. Very fragrant citrusy nose with oranges and grapefruits. Nice hoppy start. Mouth is definitely hop accented, but a bit thin. Grapefruity dry finish.

Deep russet color. Has notes of butterscotch, cherries, oranges and milk chocolate in the nose. Alcohol is very well hidden in the body. Smooth mouth with cherries, chocolate and oranges against a big malt backbone. Very butterscotchy, milk chocolatey finish with subtle notes of cherries and caramel. Very nice, but hard to drink more than one pint.

Seemed less like an Imperial at only7%, but that did not take away from the awesome nose that smelled like walking into a cedar sauna with just the faintest hints of dark chocolate. The medium-full mouth is complimented by tasting smoked wood chips on top of truffles and dark chocolate. It’s a bit u balanced, but the smoke is attenuated just right and lingers in the mouth long after you drink it.

Black as night with a very dark brown, fizzy head that diminishes quickly. Aroma of smoke, roasted malts, campfire, charred steak, sorta salty, and a little sweet. Complex aroma. Flavor is smokey, ham, roasted malts, cocoa, and maybe some oak. Finish is lightly bittersweet. Smooth body. I really enjoyed this beer. Rather complex flavor with some mighty interesting notes in this brew. Really good.

I have not smelled a worse Wit since I smelled that crap Brughel (sp??) from Quebec. This smelled equally as bad, like a toliet. I was expecting the worst. Then.... pleasent peppery and orange peel notes danced around on a light and refreshing body. A dry orangey finish was not that bad, but unfortunately the smell takes away way too much from this beer.
