About
Beer is our craft, but Drekker is about more than the contents of a glass. It’s about what happens when a few of those glasses get raised together. It’s about doing what you want to do, in a cool place, with people you want to be with. Drekker is about you after all. We love that you’d care enough to join us, and we can’t wait to see where this voyage goes when a couple more beers get raised together. Valhalla can wait.
We started as many breweries do; just a couple of friends brewing in a garage who loved great beer, had a crazy dream, and worked their asses off to make it come true. We won’t bore you with some long, meandering story about how we all met, or how the stars aligned for the brewery to come together. If you want to know the whole story, we’ll bore you with it in the taproom or just wait for the Lifetime movie to come out. Really, we’re just four regular guys who are serious about beer and not much else.

Panda thanks to Dave. A mild haze on this cherry red beer, small and short lived bubbly pale pink colour head. Light palate, a modest dryness, decent fine carbonation. Slightly tart and slightly sweet and fairly intense berries and cherries, never gets in to acid territory. Yeah, juicy fruity intense but after a while, I wanted something else going on. Good fun though.

Aromas are slightly old resin, malt, overripe veg, citrus. Flavors are similar to nose and unbalanced. Citrus comes out more as does the unbalanced bitter and sweet. A bit of burn in the finish. Don't know if I can finish it. Update- drain pour.

Pours a deep purple, with no head. Aroma is blueberry and banana. Flavors are sweet-tart blueberry and banana, with some orange in the finish. Thick mouthfeel. Very tasty stuff.

Pours a hazy, orange-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma is bit dusty, with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors follow, including the dust and a touch of astringency to the finish. Mouthfeel might be just a touch on the thin side. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Aromas are lemon, malt and a little MJ. flavors are similar to nose with an excellent sweet tart balance. As other of said I don't pick up much tea if any at all. There's also some chunky sediment like maybe a bit of lemon peel or something in the bottom. Not bad just different. Decent overall.

Aromas are kind of an odd, neither pleasant nor unpleasant mix of bananas, malt, strawberries, and cheese. Flavors are similar to nose. Much more intense and a good balance between sweet, tart and a little bitter. Full-bodied, almost thick and mild carbonation. Definitely for sipping and I couldn't imagine having more than one.
