19/7/2022. My son AJ brought this back from Portugal, bought at a SPAR. Enjoyed in 34 degrees of English sunshine. 4.5% abv. Pours clear pale golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grain, corn, grass, hint of rubber shoe. Medium to heavy sugar sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, average carbonation. The crazy heat of the day probably made this appear better than it actually is.

APPEARANCE: pale gold color and translucent. medium-low white head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low papery flavor with a low corn background. faint metallic note. medium to medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an average pale lager starting to show oxidation notes.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L249216 (BBF 23/05/2020). AROMA: low hop notes (herbal), followed my a medium background with a corn and grainy character. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. medium white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: medium grainy malty flavor, with medium corn and low papery. medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: yet another international pale lager.
