330ml bottle. Jet balck colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark toffee, dark chocolate, some coffee. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, minimally sweet, caramel malty and bitter hoppy, notes of toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel and treacle.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, very soft carbonation.
Focussed, not overly complex - pretty decent.

Quite on the dark side of brown, with reddish hints if seen through light. About one and a half fingers of off-white/yellowish head, scarce retention, pretty much no lacing. Quite good intensity in a very simple, well defined, but kind of a bit "uncouth" aroma: caramel sweetness, a decent amount of nuttiness, perhaps the slightest hint of floral hops. Taste feels nicely intense for the abv, again quite well defined but very simple. A more clearly discernible floral hops presence now. Sweetness and bitterness are both pretty intense (for style and abv) and in overall very good balance, with none standing out in both taste and aftertaste. A very clean finish/aftertaste. Light to medium body, average, fine-bubbled carbonation; feels pretty easy to drink with a bit of tingling crispness. Overall: aims at taste intensity but finds an enjoyable sweet/bitter balance. Doesn't have any actual flaw, but lacks complexity or refinement.

Ruby colour, small steady beige head. Chocolaty, a bit hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Some chocolaty kind of sweetness, low bitterness, weak finish. Meh. AIH205.

AIH205. Rubyish amber colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, some toasted and nutty tones with mild wooden and resiny tones to it. Flavour is dried fruits, toasted and some nutty tones with mild resin and wood to it. Clean and nice Brown Ale.

300ml draught shared with Finn at Alus Muiža. Next-to-clear warm golden body, covering white head, fair lacing. Inviting dusty hops on the nose with a citric bite. Flavoured with fruity hops, grapefruit to the fore, fruity wheat beneath. Rounded finish with a bitter note. Just okay. (Riga, 09.11.2025).

Can bought and shared with Finn, backroom drink-in at SIP veini- ja õllepood in Tallinn. Pours a white head over a hazy yellowish body. Spotty lacing. Moderate dough fruity aromas. Blended taste profile of caramel, dough, and ripe lemon. Dough fruity ending with a welcome bitter bite. Just okay. (Tallinn, 06.11.2025).
