Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Dark amber coloured, medium sized beige head that stays for a while, pure sweet kvass nose. Really sweet kvass taste with notes of caramel and hint of tobacco. Also some notes of dried fruits in the a way too sweet finish. Interesting in a way but...

Can, from Lithuania, thanks Ogi! So 50% Duonos Gira, 50% Kunigaikščių (how that makes 3.5% is beyond me). Geez. Dark red-amber body. Creamy, slightly butterish and caramelly kvass aroma. Sweet kvass taste.... Basically a sweet commercial kvass that had its’ ABV boosted. If that’s your thing, go ahead... it’s not like it’s flawed or anything it’s just not a thing I dig that much.

Canned 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Dark amber/brownish coloured, small pale beige head that stays for a while, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, dried fruits and caramel with notes of chocolate and light spices. Surprisingly pleasant and not loaded with sugar.

Bottled 500ml. -from Iki supermarket Vilnius. Clear amber coloured, minimal pale beige head, caramel and malt in the nose. Toasted malt, sweet caramel, touch of alcohol and discreet hops presence with heavy sweetness in the finish. Not the best choice to finish evening session.

50cl can from Maxima, Vilnius. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a tan head. Malty aroma with lots of caramel, some bready notes and hints of spices. Sweet and reminds me a little bit about kvass, but a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste. Certainly flavourful and quite nice, but not quite my cup of tea.

Can at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours lightly hazy, amber-gold with a creamy, white head. Toffee and butterscotch in the nose. Sugary flavor, with big and sticky toffee, some sweet bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with more sugary bread and caramel. Sugary stuff overall. Decent kvass.

From a large plastic bottle. Bubbles at the surface of an unclear apricot coloured body. Smell is bread and sweet apricot. Taste of sweet dried fruits. Mid-sweet ending. Soft drink, some refreshment when served chilled (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 07.05.2014).

I guess this is new or rare? From a pretty big bottle. Really surprized this is not brewed by rinky. Smells a little rude, like old lager. Oh my, my has well been brewed by rinky, same old nasty flavor, lots of personality, quite volatile going down. Am I drinking spot remover? Wew, just a big kick in the face. If there is such a thing as baltic malt likker this is it. Nasty nellie nagging numbness fer a finish. This stuff is just plain rude! And I thought IPA was bad, wew.,....
