500ml can kindly shared by djoeye. Beige bubbly head, fragile lacing. Unclear, red-browninsh coloured body. Aroma is sweet bready malts. Bread-like flavours followed by dried fruits, lightly spiced. Kvas-impression, not that sweet though. Easy to drink. Just alright (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

Pale Yellow, Medium Head, Almost No Lacing. No Aroma. Sweet Malt, Sugar, Caramel, Slight Alcohol Shining. I’d say pretty well hidden high ABV until it warms up. Once it warms up, alcohol appearance increases. Medium Body, on a lighter side. Rather easy drinker, that seems to be lower ABV Quite decent for what it is. Brewed by Gubernija for it’s distributor B&I Overseas Trading Inc. B&I is either threatened by its competitor Stawski Distribution or thinks, that it is trendy to slap its name on any beer bottle. While it is not the worst choice it is not the best beer choice either. Funny, that they fail to mention brewery that made this beer for them. While it is nothing spectacular, it is miles ahead of my recent horrific experience of supposedly Belgian Larine Grand 95. I’d say pass it....

Can at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours dark mahogany brown with a quickly dissipating beige head. The nose is caramel, brown bread, cardboard and coffee. The taste is very sweet, sugary, caramel, dark fruit, coffee and cola with a sweet finish. Lightish body and moderate carbonation. Damn sweet and sticky. Pretty nasty.

500ml Can: BBD of 7 Feb 2014. Poured into a Duvel glass (twice) on 15 Mar 2013. I found this in an ethnic shop on Walthamstow High Street. The beer looked a typical clean and clear lager/pilsner: bright and golden, with a better than normal head of snowy white bubbles on each pour. I thought of sweet soap (Imperial leather) when I first tasted and sniffed this: luckily that thought left me, but it did take a while. Grainy and sweet nosed brew: slightly more maltiness than hop bitterness and medium bodied for the style. The beer has a metallic twang towards the end and I have a feeling a couple of cans could lead to a mega hangover for the unready. I’ve made this sound worse than it was: Mr Average but with a little attitude is fairer.

500ml tin can bought in Walthamstow, in a random shop on the High Street: must take my glasses next time I buy unknown beers, 2.5% ABV isn’t my thing! The can was broached at home with the wife on 15 Mar 2013: poured into two Veltins stemmed tulips. Very pale golden urine colour with a good white head which soon did a runner: the body had a slight hazy, cloudy hue to it. Mini grain smell at first then sulphurus and slightly metallic. Fairly sweet taste: a lager tops rather than a lager shandy, but along those lines. Drank swiftly after a hot day on the beach, this would have been fine: however drank slowly as a first review of a Friday session it wasn’t fine. Weak (obviously at 2.5% ABV) and almost refreshing: otherwise tasteless.
