Canned in Vilnius. Hazy brownih amber, creamy head. Caramelly raisiny aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with fruit, dough and salt. No bitternss. This mix of kvass ad beer works very well to form an interestiing and refreshing liquid.

Can. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of amlt, caramel, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is very sweet with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish where the alcohol tickles the tongue ligthly. Thanks MiP for sharing.

Can, clear deep golden colour, aroma pf candied fruis and traces of corn, flavour of sugar with hints of tropical fruits. strong repulsive blend of sweetness and alcohol which shows quite strongly, really bad.

Can. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of grainy malt, light corn hints and a bit of grass. Sweetish flavor with grainines, metal and a bit of alcohol. Light-medium body. Alcohol is pretty well-hidden but it’s still nothing good.

500ml Bottle (Thanks FatPhil) - Copper in colour. Malty and fruity aroma, with raisins and a fair amount of sweetness. Malty taste, with fruit cake and a sweet finish. It’s a bit too sweet for me, but is fairly interesting.

500ml Can (Thanks FatPhil) - Pale golden. Grainy aroma with citrus and amlty. Clean tasting with malt and a slight hint of hops. Incredibly bland.

500ml Bottle - Pale golden in colour with a white hed. Malty, grainy and slightly metallic aroma with a hint of citrus. Slightly sweet taste with malt, grain and light hints of hops and lemon.

A golden malt liquor qith a thick white head. A sickly sweet aroma of powdered sugar and alcohol. A rather sweet malt liquor very thin and boring. Bad! 3.29$ at LCBO. Tasted on March 2007.

big brown plastic bottle(2000ml). -as Gubernija Zhigulevskoe Svetloe Pivo.
Yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast leaving no lace, low carbonation, weak corn nose. Lack of everything here, the closest description would go like this: water with notes of dried vegetables extract mixed withchicken meat or ragout... Hm, my dear American ratebeer friends what’s wrong here???

Gubernija Zhigulevskoe Svetloe Pivo brewed for the German distributor Monolith. ogivlado picked it up in a Russian store in Graz (thanks for sharing!). Poured an odd dull dark yellow/tan body with almost no head. Weak nose and I’m grateful that it’s like that... smells of artificial chicken soup. The taste is weak and empty... cardboard, meat, peas, with some extremely weak (hoppy?) bitterness showing up from time to time. Less offensive than the sum of its parts but man this sucks.
