50cl bottle @hotel room, Riga. Poured almost black in color with a thick off white head. Bready sweet malts. Sweet, molasses, toast. Medium bodied.

Re-rate based on checklist. Old score: 7, 4, 6, 3, 14 = 3.4 Smell- weak to medium, bread, malt, caramel. Foam- thin, bread, acidic, malt. Medium large brown, white foam. Appearance- dark brown, cant see through, some carbonation bubbles at sides. Taste- acidic, bread, malt, some sweetness.Actually very balanced, not too sweet. Decent kvass.

Smell- medium strong, plums, sweetness. Foam- thin, sweet, weak bitter notes, watery but half soft. Pink, medium large. Appearance- clear, red pink, medium dark. Taste- hops, bitterness, plums, low sweetness. Dont like it, bitterness ruins it for me a bit.

OLD SCORE 6/3/6/3/12 = 3 Smell-weak malt, bread. Foam-thin, malty, sweet, bread. Head is small to medium brown, white color, generally light. Appearance- simple can. Dark red color, no carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malt, bread. Neutral, not too sweet decent kvass. Not the best, but above average.

Lets start with some kvass. Smell- cherry, sour cherry, for some reason some smoke, some sweetness too and candy. Foam- thin, soft, sweetness, cherry, sugar. Medium dark brown foam, but small and disappears almost instantly Appearance- clear dark brown, with bit of red. Some carbonation bubbles at sides, cant see any inside. Taste- cherry, juice, watered down sour cherry, now feels less sweet than before. Generally feels very watery, like there was something but it got watered down a lot. Drinkable ish.

Smell- weak, maybe hops, maybe bit of candy. Foam- thin, watery, not too soft, quite large in mouth, really weak bitter tones. Medium large white foam. Appearance- clear yellow amber, no carbonation bubbles at side but some inside. Taste- weak citrus, weak nonalco feel, even more nonalco in aftertaste. Not good.

500 ml bottle, thank you FatPhil. Darker ashy brown with some light bubbles on the top. Huge herbal nose, really lots of medicinal herbs there, really medicinal. Yarrow, lots of it. Taste has sweet malty caramel, herbs are not so strong in taste, also yarrow is more tame. Cinnamon and spices are there but quite low level still. Watery for a porter, sweetness there in the finish with sone herbal bitterness.Bit meh but still drinkable somehow.
