Description
Omnipollo® is a beer production company founded by brewer Henok Fentie and artist Karl Grandin in 2010 with a shared vision of changing the perception of beer — forever.

We brew a plethora of styles to explore what beer has and can become. As a joint and equal partnership between a brewer and a graphic artist our creative process has come to resemble the work shop of other pop cultural expressions such as music.

Our beers are always a collaborative effort and we brew at breweries in all corners of the world. This approach means we get to stay curious, grounded and tuned in. Much like that good house guest.

IPA glass showing completely opaque pale straw with half a finger of very quickly dissipating white foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of papaya and lighter notes of pineapple.

The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Papaya forward with hints of pineapple and a mild bitterness with a moderate alcoholic burn (expected for 8%). A bit harsh but not bad.

black, no head
aroma is dark chocolaate, chocolate cake, roasted malts. faint vanilla as part of the chocolate cake. aroma is strong, bordering slightly boozy and powerful, full bodied, solid.
This one was crazy expensive , i think 300 to 500 dkk ish' for 37cl
Flavor is chocolate cake, dark chocolate, peppery note like bit of chili added, sweet nutty note- very balanced, blended and quite velvety - although the alc. can be tasted. alc still hidden well for a 15%er and especially the less interesting aspects of alc are nearly totally hidden. super tasty and top-of-the-shelf well done. pastry imp stouts does not get much better than this. The barrelling has added a lot of character but not at all taken over - super well balanced for a BA beer.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A adapted: non-alcoholic). Can 33 cl - Batch HG-103-1789 (BB: 100926). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma (floral, lupulin, slight melon). neutral background with faint sweetness. APPEARANCE: very pale yellow color and slightly hazy. medium-low white head with average retention. TASTE: medium to medium-low hop flavor (lupulin, pine, slight floral and melon). neutral background. medium-high to high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a nice NA IPA without notes associated with beer wort but with a bit unbalanced bitterness.
