Clear deep golden with large whie head. Sweet aroma with grainy and malty notes. Sweet flavour with cardboard and grainy notes.

Can, 5.2%. Weak perfumy aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. OK maltiness, but also a little citrus and grain flavour.

Can, 4.8%. Grainy aroma. Dark golden colour. The flavour is a little grainy, but also has a little malt to balance it. The finish is a little rough.

Bottle, 4.6%. Clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is like many a macro lager, but not unpleasant. All the usual.

Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Light amber color with a decent beige head. Aromas of caramel malt and noble hop. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is some alcohol over sweet caramel, without enough hop to balance. Ok, but not for me.

2l Bottle - Brown in colour with some red tinges. Fairly fruity aroma with some roasted notes and a fairly strong scent of alcohol. Slightly watery at first, the taste then becomes fruity and has moderate bitterness. Some roasted notes then follow with some hints of coffee and a bit of sweetness in the finish.Not bad and fairly tasty.

Bottle, 5.5% at ÅBF08. Malty sherryish aroma, oxidized? Nice clear brown colour. Sweet roasted flavour, tastes slightly old. The aftertaste is a bit grainy.

Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A clear caramel colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The falvor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also with a light note of oxidation, leading to a dry and slightly metallic finish where the caramel note lingers.
