This is carbonated lemonade with a little alcohol. Artificial and sugary. Definitely not a fan.

I’m not a fan of regular Amstel Pilsner, to put it mildly. So it comes as no surprise that the non-alcohol version is of no use to me. I’ve had much better Low Alcohol beers.

0.33 l can from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before July 2025. Very hazy, milky orangeish yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity and slightly artificial aroma of lemonade and some orange. Fairly sweet, slightly sourish, rather fruity and a bit artificial taste of lemonade, lemon, orange and hints of grains, followed by a short, slightly tart, moderately bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable.

Aroma of malts and some hops. Flavour is malty, light sweetness, with some bitternes in the aftertaste. Much better than the ’regular’ Amstel.

Bottle at home. Aroma of sugary malt, caramel, sugar, coca-cola. Flavour is insane sugary sweetness. Weak watery body. I wouldn’t force this upon my worst enemy.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è appena percepibile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare trasparente. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è moderato. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cracker, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è un timido profumo, permanendo in maniera corta. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è moderato. La forza gustativa è appena percepibile e la permanenza è corta. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva e non ha un retrogusto particolare.

Can at home. Aroma is light grainy malt, corn, cardboard. Flavour is lightly sweetish and light bitter. Body is weak. Inoffensive, refreshing but very watery Lager.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is grainy malt, straw, with a hint of yeast and grass. Flavour is light sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium. Not as good as the recent Brand unfiltered Lager, less refined and complex, but certainly drinkable.
