Flaske fra Holmens importkoffert (direkte fra Praha), delt med skipsrederen, Odd Gunnar og Kjetil, ombord på Fridtjofen i en pause på rbhd-samlingen hos Asle Bjørn, okt-18: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Frisk og god humleprofil, hint av Smørbukk karameller. Tropiske frukter og deilig, fruktig bitterhed i afslutningen. Lett å like, lett å drikke.

0,75 flaske fra Holmens importkoffert, direkte fra Praha (nydt etter tapping av vår Julebrun på Holmen) okt-18: klar lys gylden med højt, fluffy skum som holder følge helt ned. Nydelig, lys og fruktig aroma og smak hvor tropiske frukter og søt citrus leder an, etterfulgt av en lekker bitterhet. Mersmaken taklet elegant at det var en 0,75 flaske.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 12.10.18. Clear golden. Persistent white head and lacing. Excellent, interesting and balanced aroma and taste of succade, meadows, citrus and pilsner malt. Very, very quaffable.

From tap at Bad Flash, Prague, 01.10.18. Hazy pale yellow. Dense and persistent bright white head. Excellent aroma and acid taste of sour passion fruit, freshly pressed lemon and lime juice, peach, pineapple and lactic acid. Tart mouthfeel. Very quaffable.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a fading brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet caramel, little butter, light chocolate, light whisky, little meaty, labre laver notes. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, light chocolate, little smoke, wood, whisky. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 300918

29.09.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from kmp in budweis, 59 czk, bb 13.10.2018. pours an almost clear pale golden with a big steady head. aroma of tropical fruit juice, tangerines, guava. flavour of tropical fruits, vanilla, black pepper. some alcohol burn in the finish. rather bitter, not too sweet for an ipa. very juicy indeed.

29.09.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from kmp in budweis, 47 czk, bb 31.11.2018. pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a medium head. aroma of weed, then some bread and vegetables. flavour of grapefruit zest, grass, slight vegetables and apple skins again. it is ok, but vegetables and acetaldehyde are a bit off-putting.

29.09.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from kmp in budweis, 42 czk, bb 31.10.2018. pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a small head. aroma of grains, sourish funky notes, a hint of apple skins/acetaldehyde. flavour of grains, citrus, slight apples, mint. interesting, this is clearly recognisable as a czech pilsner, but definitely better than many other versions.
