Bottle at the ABC Beers pre Borefts tasting, Den Haag. Poured a murky medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is resin nettle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malt, citrus bitter palate and lingering hop bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled draft @ Brassigaume 2013. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is hoppy, fruity, getting apple, mellow floral hop notes. Taste is sweet malty, BE yeast, white bread, golden summer apples, hay, white sugar with a bitter floral finish. Thick BE yeast body. Pleasant stuff, pretty good.

Draft @ Brassigaume ’13. Orangée présentant un trouble léger, col blanc fin. Arôme est houblonné, léger citronné avec pas mal de bonnes effluves agrumes suivi de cette petite note de fruits fermentés. Palais est fruité et houblonné restant très légère en bouche. Pointe d’amertume qui accompagne un profil axé sur les grains - pâle et cara. Les houblons restent apparemment sur une note européenne. Effervescence est modérée et laisse un léger fini citronné. Bière facile sans être trop complexe mais qui reste agréable quoique un peu légère pour le temps d’octobre de Gaume.

Aroma is moderate malty, straw, caramel, keller, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, grass, citrus. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, hoppy, straw. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121214]
