(10/9/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Chicago. Cloudy yellow. Aroma is fruity, with some banana, light spiciness and bubblegum notes. Sweetish wheaty flavor with a bit of yeast, some spiciness and light, slightly unpleasant, sourness. Rather light-bodied.

Rated 2/08/04, but stuck in the "Corporate" RB list. Now corrected to the right place. Draft taster glass. Deep brown, impenetrable color, even in a tiny glass. Good caramel maltiness, a very light smokiness and I think a chocolate liqueur note. Thin head that coats rather than laces. Picks up a dry stout character toward the end. Pretty tasty.

Hazy golden color. Quite poor beer, where the fruits add a light acidity and fruity aroma.

Light blond color. Very light Lager, but brewed with skills and scoring above the averge in its category, for being balanced, with light but nice aromatic hopping, crispy.

Black color. Roasted malt aroma. Light body, but smooth texture, with roasted malt flavor overall, and chocolate and ashes too. Good bitterness level. Too much roasted malt in the final. Not my beer, but good.

Draught at the brewpub
Black color; creamy head; nice lace. A good hopping gives to this beer a nice fruity aroma that wins over the roasted malt. Good body structure, smooth texture, with nice roasted malt flavor, adjusted by a light fruitness, all along the final. By far, the best beer at this brewpub.
