(6/27/08) Draught at the brewpub in Plzen. Slightly hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of slightly grassy hops, hints of hay and some malt. Sweetish flavor with some white bread notes and a mildly bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied.

Dark yellow color, small white head. Wort, black currant and malt in the nose. Grainy, sweetish malty flavor - in a good way. Grassy-woody hops, but with low bitterness. Also low carbonation. Certainly a handcrafted beer.

On tap at the brew pub, Plzen. Amber, thin beige head. Some fruit and very grassy hop. Bit vegetal. Not great. Bit syrupy malt. Not totally integrated. Not great, but interesting beer. Grassy hop.

Draught. Amber colour, not that much head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and also some malts. Flavour is the same with a nice grassyness coming through. Wellbalanced and nice.

Draft at the brewpub. A golden eer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and sulphur. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and sulphur, leading to a dry bitter finish. I’m not that fond of the sulphur even if it comes from the pilsner malt.

Draught the brewpub. Almost clear pale amber with brief head. Grassy nose. Dryish with medium body with chewy malt. Firm, yet slim. Husky with restrained hoppiness and a very light touch of apple and caramel. Medium bitterness. Felt a bit off shape.
