Afal Y Graig Artisan Cider started from our orchard in Cwmafan, Port Talbot and has now moved to Tonna, Neath. Our motto is "Apple to the core" as we only use 100% fresh pressed apple juice.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo via danlo, cheers! Aroma of fruity apple, slightly woody and funky. Taste is dry apple, touch herbal and slightly spicy.

24/10/2021. BIAB sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of light tart apple, some musty, funky, barnyard notes. Moderate sweetness and ligth tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation.

BIAB at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2021. 100th Welsh Cider rating. Hazy gold colour, no lasting head and aroma of fruity apple, musty. Taste is apple, fruity, some skin and core, musty with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable

Cask @ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival Jan 14. Fairly sweet and light with a big helping of Apricot tart for some reason. Overripe apples in there too. Not bad.

Polypin box @ Paisley Beer Festival 2010. Unclear golden colour, no head. Aroma is sour apple, yeast. Flavour of sour apple and yeast.

@GBBF2008. Hazy orange colour, no head. Aroma is pretty much acidic apples, and some rotten ones too. Flavour is sour fruits, vanilla, apples and is semidry.

From barrel Pigs Ear BF. Hazy orange gold colour. Really cheesy whisky aroma, sharp apple. Whisky flavour throughout, and very dry. Nicely balanced.
