Bottle - Tropical fruit, mango, lychee and some grass. Light clear copper with a thick off white head. Orange and malts up front with a resinous bitterness the dominates and ends with a bit of alcohol burn in the throat. Nice beer, but the finish is a bit too much.

Bottle - Nice grapefruit and some resin. Clear gold with a bubbly head. Nice little bit of bitterness and some light resin. A very simple but nice English style IPA that has a nice low ABV. Everything I expected.

Bottle - Dark fruit, some roasted malts and some sourness. Muddy opaque brown with no head. A really odd porter, with the odd ingrediants giving in a light roasted flavor, some sourness and oak. Very light body and no bitterness and a bit flat. Could be a bad bottle.

NWA is much better than this. And not only Ice Cube, but the North west ale as well. Another EPA from Spinnakers. This stuff probably appeals to the large population of retired Brits in Victoria. Pours pale lagery with slight lacing. Pretty high carbonation. Some bitterness with no sourness at least. On tap at brewpub.

Some hops. Pours clear mahogany with some lacing, no head. A little sweetened malt. Some bitterness, not very interesting. Average carbonation and slick texture. On tap at brewpub.

Decently done. Pours brown clear with lacing and some head. A little bitter, some malt. Not very interesting but that’s the whole style’s goal. Average carbonation. On tap at brewpub.

To quote from my dad: "It’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had in a beer. It tastes like toilette water." Pours cloudy piss. No redeeming qualities. Not even the lime or tequila - which was surely a good idea. Fits into the classic meme of calling any beer that doesn’t work out the way it was supposed to in the brewing process a Kolsch. On tap at brewpub.

Probably the best I tried at the brewpub today. Some pine and citrus hops. Pours clear orange with some lacing. No head. Light bitterness with a notch of sourness. On tap.
