Draught at the brewpub
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is mild, breadish. Some caramel and cereals flavor, the mouthfeel is rounder than similar beers at this ABV; respectable bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub
Muddy blond color, dreadfully served with a wedge of orange. Saline water aroma. Light flavor, weak wheat, with a peculiar, light hazelnut touch; low bitterness. Easy but not totally bad.

Bottle from Spinnakers Spirit Merchants, Victoria
Brown mahogany color, with small head. Strange aroma of roasted malts and light durian. Lean body, with mild caramel flavor, and a hint of vegetables and cardboard. Low bitterness, with a very light trace of liquorice in the end.
Failing on many points: no nuttiness, poor malt presence, and even poor hopping.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a small tan head. Aroma of sweetened liquid chocolate, maple syrup and caramel. Flavour is less inviting - roasted malt, coffee and sweet chocolate, but with an acidic and thin palate. Decent, but not one of the better examples of the style.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy yellow with an orange tint and a white head. Aroma is basically a typical hefe (clove, citrus and wheat standing out), with peach overtones. Flavour is quite acidic, with peach and cloying citric qualities that linger. Decent.
