Bottle: Poured a clear black color stout with a big dark foamy head with some good retention and small ring of lacing. Aroma consisted of vinous notes with some sourness. Taste was also dominated by some sourness and some rotten grain. Body was thin and watery. No traces of roasted malt or hops were discernable. This appeared to be a bad bottle and based on prior ratings seems there is quite a few out there.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 11 Nov 2007) Deep ruby colour with brownish notes, brief brownish red head. Fruity, tart nose with dark notes of black-currant. Fruity, tart taste with juicy notes of black-currant and hints of yeast. Alcohol well hidden. Slightly prickly mouthfeel. Nice and summery brew, but I did prefer their raspberry beer.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Dark amber colour with brief off-white head. Fruity taste with tart raspberry notes. Fruity, slightly tart taste with a distinct raspberry flavour. Very dominant raspberry character, but rather harsh and sour. Alcohol very well hidden. Fairly balanced and very nice if raspberries are your cup of tea.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival ... Deep red ... slight (not unpleasent) sour fruit nose ... tart sharp fruit not quite sour ... blackcurrent exploded in mouth a great beer on that alone, but its more than just the fruit explosion.

Clear copper brown color, small white head. Nutty and hoppy aroma. Nutty malty flavor, not really an ESB-like, but nicely balanced ale. Woody hops in the aftertaste.

Dark copper color, small white head. Malty, a bit fruity nose. Nicely soft palate, same time fizzy and carbonated. Good late hopping. This is a good session beer.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy dark amber, rich head. Dry with dusty berry aroma. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Roasty malt is dominant, some grapefruity and grassy hops comes through as well. Salty lingering finish.
