Cloudy pinkish-brown. Cinnamon, sugar and alcohol aroma. Hmmmm...cherry pie concentrated, but it clashes with the spicy, alcoholic tripel that lies underneath. It just ends up being too sweet, since the Fog Fighter is quite sweet to begin with, and the alcohol is never something I welcome in a fruit beer. They also have a cranberry version, which I missed, and that sounds like a better combo on paper.

Reddish amber ale with a thick collapsing off white head. Strong caramel and brown suga in aroma, light hops, and butterscotch. In mouth, a sweet malt with strong nuttyness, a bit sour, medium bodied, but overall pretty nice. June 17, 2006.

Bottle. Pale golden, lowish head. Quite fruity aroma - a little bit belgian funk. Bubblegum, tropical fruit, honey melon. Lightbodied, somewhat oily mouthfeel, ok chewyness. Pretty muddled brew.

Sampled as Blackstout. Dark brown colour. Light roasty, chocolatey aroma. The flavour is similar with a light roasty bitterness and fairly sweet back note. Simple stout, but not bad.

Dark clear brown to black overflowing from bottle upon opening. Thin moka head. Rather faint spicey aroma, chocolatey, but a bit off. In mouth, a thin stout, with light chocolate notes, more reminiscent of a schwarzbier, thin and boring, and off. Shared with Chris, and Mike, November, 2005.

Ruby-brown colour with a finger of foam. Fairly heavy cinnamon and nutmeg accent with light underlying porter characteristics. With the malt backdrop, these spices come across with a pumpkin pie type of feel, but may be a bit strong for some.
