My 50th Forgotten Boardwalk beer rating. 16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Bright gold color. Large, frothy white head. Nice lacing. Sweet biscuity malt aroma hints at vanilla. Flavor mirrors aroma. Notes of white bread and Nilla Wafers. Light in body and flavor. Brief malty finish.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy, yellow gold pour. Firm, frothy beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits and sweet biscuits. Flavor upfront is tangy and fruity. Initially, notes of lemon peel, white wine, peach and grapefruit. Some dankness in middle. Finishes with more notes of white wine, orange and lime.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy, blush pink color. Pillowy, off-white head. Zesty, red fruit aroma. Flavor is lightly tart with notes of red berries and tangy yeast. Very light in body and flavor. More like a flavored alcoholic seltzer than a “Tart Rose Ale”.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Orange gold pour. Firm marshmallowy white head. Spooky lacing. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice. Flavor upfront has the obligatory pumpkin pie spices, but with a twist. Added notes of lavender and baked squash. A bit heavy on the spices. Hints of brown sugar, toffee and a touch of je ne sais quoi. Enjoyable.
