12 ounce can from brewery. Slightly hazed auburn brown pour. Small beige ring. Subtle roasted malt aroma. Flavor is tangy and sweet. Some caramel and cocoa. A hint of nuttiness in middle. A bit of sweetness on the backend. Pleasant enough.

16 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Medium gold pour is topped by a frothy white head. Grainy, herbal nose. Can say’s” A crisp cracker profile brewed to pair with New Jersey oysters”. I’ve got no oysters, but here goes. Flavor is sweet bready malt and lemon zest. Light and refreshing. Some underlying earthiness as well.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy orange copper color. Dense, foamy beige head. Earthy, sweet toasted malt aroma. Mildly sweet, toasted malt flavor upfront. Toffeeish and spicy notes in middle. Some dryness and peppery notes in finish.

Quite hazy rose and deep golden coloured body with a nice amber glow, about 60 per cent opaque with an almost pefect two to three centimetre tall off-white head that's microfoamed and stays afloat nicely. Aroma of dry grainy malts, a dash of flowers and grass with a slight hit of bretty and funky yeasts, but not as much as others, with some perfumey hops and alpha acids here, in the nose, at least. Medium-bodied; Very crisp and dry, pretty tart yeastie notes are noticeable with a light fruity quotient as well, showing some pears, apples, lemons with a nice sweetness on the end, and no real hop bitterness here. Aftertaste shows some nice complexity, mainly from the yeast, but the malt bill shows nicely here and provides good support, but the balance of sugars, dryness and fruity notes make this complex and enjoyable. Overall, a very nice beer, but this isn't really an IPA at all - it's a sour or wild beer, almost a fruit beer (by taste only - I don't believe there is any actual fruit here!) but it is nice and especially complex and does have SOME hops, just IPA-level hops. Great to sample from New Jersey and fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 03-September-2022 for US$4,09 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-September-2022.
