Bottle. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit, flowers and malt, wit notes of yeast. Sweetish, fruity flavour with malty notes and mild floral touches, cimplemented by bitter notes of hops and hints of Belgian yeast. Bitterish and estery aftertaste with sweetish notes of malt. Well-hidden ABV. A very decent Abbey Tripel.

Fles gedronken met familie.
Diep donkerbruin bier met stevige schuimkraag.
Beetje karamel achtig.
Lekkere nasmaak.
Beoordeling in 2016 was 8-6-7-8-7,5.

In 2024 een fles gedronken met tht januari 2020.
Het bier was bijna zonder schuim tijdens inschenken maar de smaak was zeer intens en bourbon achtig.
Stevige nasmaak; fruitig, bourbon en karamel.

Hazy golden with white head. Smell some weedlike hops. Sweet malts, spices, grassy, some dried fruit. Big alcohol, full bodied. Backlog from 2014/06/25.

Many thanks for this swing-top bottle to JefVerstraete. Pianka spora kremowa i bezowa. Kolor zmecony strasznie brazowo brubatny. Zapach kasztanow. W smaku figi, daktyle, kasztany i nieco slodkosci w typie sliwka w czekoladzie. Lekka gorycz i wytrawnosc w tle. Metne i pieknie wygladajaca butelka. Alkohol niewyczuwalny. Pijalne piwo choc nieco przyciezkawe.

Pours hazy amber with rocky froth. Aroma is corn flakes, bread dough, honey, porridge. Fresh, powerful, low bitterness.

Clear warm golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of alcohol, apricot sauce, apple, candied apple. Yeasty flavour, sweet apple, caramel, alcohol. Sweet finish, sweet apple.

Pours amber with frothy tan head. Mostly secondary aromas, such as yeast, bread, porridge, lemon pie, dry pasta, yogurt, even a dash of vinegar. Fresh and powerful. Metallic and very, very sour. No bitterness. Difficult but rewarding.

Flaska från Saveur-bier. Gyllenfärgad, lätt disig med högt vitt skum. Lätt kryddig doft med apelsinskal, honung, jäst och alkhol. En kraftfull trippel där alkoholen först slår igenom rejält, men som snrare känns eldig när man vant sig. Reletivt stor beska, apelsinskal, jäst, kryddig med peppar och lite beska örter, medelstor sötma. En välgjord stark och beska trippel.

Bottle @ Baziel, Gent. Murky brown colour, creamy beige foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet with notes of raisins, plums, stone fruit. Some toast and caramel also. Light bitter finish. Well balanced. Very good beer.
