Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is quite fruity with sweetish strawberry, malt and sweet red berries. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Body is medium. More of a Fruit Beer than a Saison, it lacks Saison yeast, that being said I found this strawberry beer kind of enjoyable. Some bitterness would have improved it.

From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival 2017. Aroma is malty and floral, bit metallic, with soft fruits and some caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and fairly bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable but malty with only soft fruits and floral hops. Okay-ish.

From bottle at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival 2017. Aroma is strong oak and whiskey, big Laphroaig character, peat, paint thinner, dried fruits, green apples, with a hint of dark chocolate malt. Flavour is almost sourish, which can't be what they were going for. Body is medium with too low carbonation. Very rough barrel aging with lots of flavours that shouldn't be there. Very low on cacao as well.

From bottle at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival 2017. Aroma is lots of oak, sherry, big peat and smoked malts, red fruits, port, hint of chocolate malt, more big sherry and wood in the finish. Flavour is a bit sourish. Body is medium. Pretty nice aroma, flavour and body can't quite keep up.
