From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Aroma is roasty, creamy malts, bittering hops, fruity notes, coffee and cocoa. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nice Brown Ale, tons of malts and some hops.

Sampler from tap at De Toeter. Murky brown colour, thin beige head. Aroma of one exploded yeast fuck-up. Lots of plastic, band-aid, iodine, some malts. Flavour follows, total trainwreck. Light bodied.

Bottle [from trade with ShivanDragon I believe, thanks!] @ home. Hazy dark amber to red-brown color, medium to full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, slightly a hint of nuts, lightly leaves, lightly hops, firm bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all. Very pleasant brown ale.

schenkt licht stroperig, oogt mooi caramelbruin met rode gloed, kaki kraag. aroma van caramel, mout, zoet. smaken zijn matig zoet, matig/redelijk bitter, caramel, mout, gist, kruidig karakter, iets scherps, lange kruidige en bittere afdronk, noten, aardse tonen, matige body, redelijke co2. goed te drinken deze, gelukkig niet caramel overheersend,

Bottle at Café De Toeter, Groningen, Netherlands, Sunday 4th October 2015. Pours dark brown with a thin beige rim. Sweetish but with a spicy and bitter edge. A little boozy chocolate, and whilst a zing of fresh hops is noted it is a big malty beer first and foremost. Good. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
