Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Thompson. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun laagje crème schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand en chocolade achtig.

A Netherlands quadrupel given to me by a very good friend, thanks Rene. I've held onto it as long as I stand, ready to try it tonight. Unfamiliar with the brewery, of course, doesn't matter, it's a quad, always on board with that. I tilt the 33 cl bottle into a tulip glass to see a nearly black body topped by a medium tan top reminiscent of most imperial stouts. The scent is plum and malt, good start. A drink now, geez, pretty decent. Dark malt, dates, dark fruit aplenty, yeast, raisins, a touch of sweetness along with a small concluding bitterness.

Bottle shared at Kingsday Tasting 2019. Brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, sugary a bit, oaky, a bit bitter. Alright. 7-3-7-3-13.

330ml bottle. Dark brown colour, no head - just some instantaneously fading, beige bubbles. Rather expressionless, woody, dark malty aroma, Port overtones, whiffs of alcohol. Taste is minimally sweet malty, dry woody and alcoholic, Port overtones. Almost inedible.

330ml bottle from European Swap 2019/1, thank you Mallorn! Pours nice darker brown, beige-light brown foam on the top. Nose is sweetish, some deep black rye bread character, lightly hoppy. Taste is bready as well, touch of smoke and relatively light bitterness, body feels light and with tart notes. Simple but I could drink a few pints of this.
