About

Eine eigene Brauerei musste her.

Ihre Mission: »Brewing Awesomeness.« Ihr Motto: »Craft Beer is not a Crime!«

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy to milky brass, low offwhite head. Citrus and basil aroma. Medium full, light grain/mealy notes, porridge, herb and aromatic hops shine through in the end, good bitter backstop. Very nice dry-hopping, a bit too much muddled grain, yeast notes.

Bottle from the brewery. Red amber, light haze, low offwhite head. Berry-caramel nose, medium light sweet melanoidin body, redcurrant and sweet raspberry, sweet but not cloying, ok grassy and earthy hop finish. Pleasant enough.

Tap at crew. Clear golden, white lace. Light hayish malt, chewy grain, straw in the nose, light perfumed and grassy hop notes retronasal. Little resistance, but seems a lot more pleasant than other Trooper iterations I tried in the past.

Golden colour with lasting head. Plenty of malt sweetness. Quite biscuity. Full mouthfeel, especially for a lager. Well rounded bitterness. Good job.

Schöne, trübe Farbe. Schaumentwicklung mau. You'll take my life, but I'll take yours too You'll fire your musket, but I'll run you through So when you're waiting for the next attack You'd better stand, there's no turning back The bugle sounds, the charge begins But on this battlefield, no one wins The smell of acrid smoke and horses' breath As I plunge on into certain death The horse, he sweats with fear, we break to run The mighty roar of the Russian guns And as we race towards the human wall The screams of pain as my comrades fall We hurdle bodies that lay on the ground And the Russians fire another round We get so near, yet so far away We won't live to fight another day We get so close, near enough to fight When a Russian gets me in his sights He pulls the trigger and I feel the blow A burst of rounds take my horse below And as I lay there gazing at the sky My body's numb and my throat is dry And as I lay forgotten and alone Without a tear, I draw my parting groan

0,5 l can from Aldi Nord. 4-Pack for 4,49 €. Cloudy golden in the glass, one finger white head. Intensive citrus hop and resin on the nose. Taste starts also with citrus hop, resin, increasing malt and smooth grainy, balanced. Below average carbonated. Not bad.
