Bottle. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Rugbrøds notes. Bready flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Assentoft tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are pumpernickel bread, syrop, malt, chocolate and hops.

0,33 l bottle from "Mein Münster". Hazy, pale yellow with thick white, frothy head. Fruity, citrusy aroma. Taste of lemon, straw and grapefruit. A bit musty. Flat carbonation, thin to medium body. Quite one-dimensional, lacking freshness, expected way more. Still very solid.

0,33 l bottle from Edeka Rotthowe in Münster. Murky dark red-brown (if held into the light), almost black with frothy tan head. Slight aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Taste of coffee, pumpernickel and hints of chocolate. Very nice! Some sourness with crisp bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, low carbonation. Really pleasant, definitely underestimated!

Sampled @ Finest Spirits and Beer Convention Bochum 2014: Milchig trübes gelbes Bier mit ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, fruchtig, muffig. Geschmack bitter hopfig, fruchtig, malzig, grasig.

On tap @ S&B Bo 2014. Mild-weicher Antrunk. Frisch-mild, Malzig mit caramelligen Anklängen. Im Nachgeschmack mittellang, frisch-malzig, aber nicht zu tief.
