(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, slightly papery malty, light biscuity and faint fruity (citrus) nose. Sweet flavour with a light bitter edge, quite slim bodied with a soft and calm mouthfeel. Malt-accented taste with distinctive notes of marzipan and very subtle hints of fruitiness; moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with a light hops character showing up at the very end (09.04.08).

Bottle. Fairly neutral aroma. Golden, white head. Ok malt sweetnes, chewable - but a bit lighter body, good balance - doesnt have much going on though. Quick finish.

Bottle (thanks to joss !): Mahagony coloured, quite stable mid-sized tan head; sweet dark-malt with a tinge of toasted malt and a orangey fruitiness show up in the aroma; moderate sweet flavour with the faintest acidity, medium bodied, smooth MF; sweet, fruity (berries), malty - almost a bit vinous - finish. A very pleasant, well rounded Dunkleweizen......

Rerate from bottle. I am getting a nice aromatic honey not from the beer this time around. Sweet base, mellow mouthfeel, somewhat spicy. Ok winterwarmer. Old rating: 5 4 5 2 9 Bottle. Amber, low visible carbonation, fluffy off-white head. Light herbal nose. Restrained cookie malt base, sufficient hop balance. Medium to light body. Not very exiting.

Bottle. Cloudy dark amber, busy carbonation golden foam. Spicy and herbal nose. Roasted, honey, berries, more pronounced on the dark malts than most other Dunkelweizen. Medium chewy body. Blueberry aftertaste.

Rerate from bottle. Looks are the same, but with less carbonation. Softer mouthfeel, mellow creamy. Nice vanilla, banana and clove notes. Nice dessert-weissbier. Old rating: 5 2 4 2 6 Bottle. Cloudy yellow, heavy carbonation, off-white head. Minerally yeast aroma. Thin mouthfeel due to the bubbles - hard to taste anything but a bit clove and yeast, maybe a hint lemon. .
