Draft at Hop Cat Livonia. Pours a clear gold with a finger of fluffy white foam that lingers. Lovely bready malt aromas with some honey and pepper as it warms. Palate is similar, balanced smooth but crisp and with a peppery, dry finish. Very nice.

Super rich dark brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head that fades quickly and leaves a small lace on the sides. Aroma of molasses, vanilla, cream, alcohol, light bourbon and some grain, but the sweetness of the caramelised sugars is the strongest here, in a good way. Full-bodied; Very rich vanilla, creamy, oaty and especially lactosey way with a ton of body and richness form the malts with perhaps even more sweetness with a lot of pungency throughout along with a rich alcohol bite that seemingly sticks around for a very long time with a good deal of sweet punch at the end. Aftertaste shows some vanilla and grain, but the cream, oats and especially the sweet molasses and caramelised sugars much stronger than anything else. Overall, a very nice and super pungent beer that is rich, decadent and very good for the style, as long as you can handle it. Great to have, especially on draught, locally and oddly enough, during the day! I sampled this sixteen ounce, PINT poured on draught at the Grand Trunk Pub in downtown Detroit on 19-April-2023 for US$7,50.Β

Cloudy medium bright orange body, thick cream head. Aroma a mix of tropical fruits, orange, and grape. Body surprisingly dank and earthy, with orange, pink grapefruit, stone fruits, and lychee. Medium-bodied, creamy and full, and not very sweet. Competent.

Super hazy, deep copper and bronze coloured body with an ultra large tan head, perfectly microfoamed, but tall, at eight centimetres, all atop the cloudy, chunky, 95 per cent opaque body. Aroma of intense residual sugars, with mangoes and papaya as well, and some citrus fruit with a pungent dose of lighter hops, with a ton of alcohol here, in the nose at least. Full-bodied; Super dense, rich and pungent malt dominates here with seemingly as much melon and papaya than light malts, but the lactose, fructose and residual sugars with a pungent and very deep profile with a lot of fruity sweetness on the end, a bit cloying, but of course hiding a tad - the alcohol here. Aftertaste shows some citrus and tropically notes, but the alcohol, super rich malts and especially the residual sugars here dominate everything with some hops noticeable, but this is much more of an American Strong than an Imperial IPA - it's just too sweet and not hoppy enough. Great to try with a great can design and from a new (to me) brewery, and after just being on the bridge (walking across of course) on the can, in Grand Rapids. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 03-August-2021 for US$6,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-October-2021.

Can. Pours a hazy orange with a yellow hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has juicy citrus and light tropical fruits with a bit of sweet onion underlying. Flavor has more tropical fruit with growing citrus and a bit of sweet onion in the finish.
