From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival Hoogeveen 2019. Aroma is fairly fruity with ripe fruits, citrus, light yeast, some apricot, notes of marmalade. Sweetish flavour with a light hoppy hint in the finish. Body is medium. Not bad.

From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival Hoogeveen 2019. Pretty sweet with an aroma of dark malt, caramel, light coffee, and a touch of yeast. Sweet flavour with notes of cocoa and caramel. Medium body. A Chocolate Quad/Stout hybrid? Not bad.

Bottle from Slijterij Benting, Coevorden. Roast-forward with notes of coffee, piney hops, some orange, grapefruit and chocolate. Medium bitter with a light sweetness. A bit thin but nice, gets the job done. Bonus point for me just being a Black IPA sucker.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Almost black coloured brew with an full dry bitter taste. Hints of roasted malts, dark roasted coffee and dark chocolate.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and a hint of licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet, full bodied. Caramel, lots of licorice. Almost full bodied. Not subtle, but does the job and the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Pale amber color. Floral notes and fresh cheese in the aroma. Hint of smoke. Malty sweet, bready flavor, full bodied. Smoky, floral. Weird.
