Clear yellow blond beer, big creamy white head, pretty solid, adhesive. Aroma: fruity, juicy, tropical fruits, a bit of diacetyl. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, soapy, very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, some alcohol noticeable, very old school IPA. Aftertaste: malty, a little fruity, bitter, hoppy, dry, ok but not great.

Borefts XII Day 2. A light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Cream and caramel malts, sweet but not overly so. A little dry fruits and what tastes like a whiskey barrel treatment. A little vanilla oak and spicy fruity whiskey. Semi dry finish. A fitting barleywine for the great man. He fucked up my hearing but it was worth it. Motorhead forever.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty start, lots of alcohol, spicy, oxidized, very intense, cocoa powder and coffee notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of tonka beans, a bit sweet, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, malty, good roast. Aftertaste: lots and lots of chocolate, tonka beans, pretty bitter, dry, coffee, more alcohol.

Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A clear amber beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt, biscuit, spicy hops. Taste of caramelized malt, nuts, mild spicy bitterness. Okay.
