English style barley wine I was told. Dark amber with white head that collapses. Malty aroma, very full. Malty taste with toast notes, Wine like feeling.

Kicsi, gyorsan elolvadó hab, sötétvörös szín. Vörösboros, savanykás, meggyes, enyhén istállós illat. Savanyú, meggyes, istállós, vörösboros, hordós, gabonás ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, nem keserű. Nagyon finom.

Bottle shared by ClarkVV--Thanks Clark! Hazy, light brown, ring of head, light lacing. Aroma is strong corn, juniper, host of spices. Taste is strongly tart (not sour, but gets you in the back of the mouth) fruit, w/sweet berry, spices. Smooth texture, somewhat watery, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not a style I gravitate to but more tart than sour and a lot going on! Well made for sure.

375mL bottle drunk 11/2/25.
Clear, rosy orange. Bronze and with an off-white head.
Sacch yeast rising up to outdo the spicing. Barrel aging gives a good evenness of aroma. Soft, honey-like malts help balance.
Soft and malty with light spicing in the finish. Bit of ginger acidity and juniper character. Soft and malty with mild Belgian yeast. Lingering bitter herb such as Angelica or similar.

Gold body with big white head. Light hoppy aroma, less than you would expect from a fresh hop Ipa. Full hop taste with malt squeals and a good finish

375ml bottle. Cloudy, orange, dark golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly bretty, funky, yeasty fruity aroma, sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty background, notes of grapes, berries, yellow stone fruit, quite vinous fruitiness overall, some honey, Hubba Bubba bubblegum. Taste is slightly biscuity, pale malty with subtle residual sweetness, yeasty fruity and mildly funky, bretty, yeasty as well as slightly citrusy fruity and minimally tannic, woody, oaky, vinous fruitiness again, additional notes of quince, old lemon peel, vanilla, toasted oak, some mild, fruit acidic tartness.
Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally astringent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Complex, vinous fruitiness, fairly mild and balanced - good!

16 oz can. Pours a dirty dark mahogany with light head. Aromas of figs, chalky berries, sweet caramel, and wet toasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional earthy fresh ground coffee and slightly tart berries. Odd, getting lots of stuff except cacao; but interesting.

Medium brown colour. Not much head. Some dark malt sweetness, a bit of tartness, maybe a touch of brett. Definitely not changing my mind about the futility of dark saison…these elements simply do not go together. It’s decently made and all, but yeah.

Foamed up a bit on opening. Bright copper colour and lots of head. Definitely got some brett on it, a bit if caramel, too. Fizzy, which takes away from the overall presentation. Again some toffee notes and brett. It’s a bit incongruous, actually. Still good, still Upright, but not my ideal flavour profile.
