Cask at the Porter, Atlanta GA. Pours dark mahogany brown with a solid dirty tan head. Aroma is toffee, malt, a little chocolate, coffee, roast malt, dried fruit. Taste is toffee, chocolate, rye bread, coffee, a little roast malt. Nice and smooth on the palate. Decent mild.

Killer red IPA, a more modern take on the Celebration template, with toasted malt and caramel notes backed up by ample pine, but with an added citrus-tropical hop vein adding a lovely touch of juice. Great pint.

16 oz draft. Great malt body. Toffee, caramel, and a light lager yeast finish. Bread notes. Crisp texture. Very nice for the style. Really as it should be.

20 oz draft @ Double Dogs Greenville, South Carolina. Aroma is mango and citrus. Mild herb is hiding underneath the citrus peel and malt. Low bitterness characteristics. Seriously serviceable.

Mostly lime. Body is medium. Not the bitterness I was hoping for, or at least dry bitterness. Lots of hop tang. Golden pour with decent head. Can.

Lovely nose and a thick hearty feel, pours gorgeous…if only it wasn't so sweet for the style. Not cloying, but still a bit too much caramel and honey, not enough toasted bread or floral bitterness. Not bad, but not a classic interpretation.
