0.33 l can, 6.8% ABV version. Pours deep red, almost brown with persistent off-white head. Nose is herbs, caramel and malts. The taste is bittersweet, the caramel-y/malty touch gives the sweetness and it has a herb-y, moderately resinous hoppy character to it too. Closes with short earthy bitter finish, has light, creamy body and soft to average carbonation. Not bad by far, but somehow not round enough.

Can at home. Deep golden, thick head. Nose is fruity flowery and somewhat bitter, quite decent. In taste the IPA character appears first too, and then there’s this yeasty-flowery Belgian touch. Closes with bitter and flowery finish, has light body and soft carbo. Pleasant brew.

Can at Beermoth. The perfect hangover beer during FFB20. I only took numerical notes while having this one.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, dried fruit, and barrel. Bitter, boozy onset, giving way to notes of dried fruit, roast and oak barrel. Bitter aftertaste with touches of vanilla and dryish, vinous notes. Warming alcohol presence. Reasonable but very heavy.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, cake, and coffee, with touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with touches of coffee, sweet notes of cake, malt, and yeast, and hints of dried fruits. Roasty and malty aftertaste. Bitter and warming alcohol presence. Decent stuff.

La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma riporta sentori di agrumi, lampone, rabarbaro, limone, acetico e zenzero.

Lattina. Il gusto al naso va sul luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma cremosa ha una buona tenuta e voluminosa persistenza. Il liquido è di aspetto cristallino. La frizzantezza si manifesta sotto forma di bollicine medie. La carbonazione è abbondante e vivace. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato arrivano sentori di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina e agrumi.

Lattina. Arco olfattivo dominato dal cioccolato. L'intensità olfattiva è flebile. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Al palato finiscono sentori di miele, cioccolato, caffè, fiori e agrumi.
