Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Saturday session 1. Black body under a dense beige head. Strong aroma similar to Amaretto liqueur and nut cream. Taste is ultra sweet and sticky with flavors dominated by various essences. Full bodied and same aftertaste. Not my kind of breakfast.

On tap at Brew Festival. A dark brown to black beer topped by a dense finger-thick tan head. The aroma is dominated by heavy caramel sauce, with nuts, some chocolate and roasted malts, a touch of maple syrup, alcohol and a good measure of coffee. It's full-bodied, warming and lightly sticky on the palate, soft and really sweet. Caramel sauce, coffee, alcohol and some maple syrup in the flavor, with hints of choclate, hazelnut and roasted malts. Lasting sweet finish with the alcohol quite subdued. Way too much going on here, but still quite nice. Well suited for pancakes perhaps. 220430

On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear yellow beer with a dense off-white head leaving lacing. Very fruity aroma with candy-ish tropical fruityness. White sugar, passionfruit, orange, pineapple and peach. No maltyness detected. It's smooth on the palate, medium bodied and lightly sticky, with a really sweet flavor. Candyish tropical fruityness only. Long, sweet finish. Sure, it tastes sort of nice, but feels like candy juice. 220430

On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear reddish, pinkish orange colored beer with a dense finger-thick pink head. Curtains. The aroma has loads of raspberry candy and a touch of yoghurt and white bread. It's full-bodied, smooth and youghurt-oily on the palate, sweet but not really sticky. A lemony sourness prevents the stickyness I guess. There's some bread and yoghurt in the flavor too, else it's the same extreme amounts of raspberry candy found on the nose. Medium length raspberry candy finish. Pretty far from what you'd expect from a beer this one, and frankly, quite weird. 220429

On tap at Brew Festival. It's an unclear orangey yellow beer topped by a dense two-finger white head. Cute lacing. The aroma has banana and a light spiced touch, flower scents, cardboard notes and some light bready malt notes. It's full to medium bodied, nicely carbonated and not too sweet on the palate. The flavor is more on the bready malt side than the aroma, with cloves and a peppery touch, banana and some lemon, and a hint of wet cardboard. Medium length finish. A decent weissbier, but the cardboard was a bit annoying. 220429

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Friday session. Unclear golden body under a big, creamy white head. Not much aroma here, faint hint of malt and fruit, no particular Weissbier aroma here. Taste has sweetish, pale malt, wheat and a mild fruity touch. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Pretty plain and anonymous.

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Friday session. Murky, dirty purple orange body under a short lasting, creamy pink head. Aroma of raspberry candy. Taste is medium sour raspberry, red berries juice, hint of vanilla and sugar cane. Medium body and same aftertaste, sweet and sour. Labeled as a fruited goose, but closer to a smoothie beer by me. Not very interesting really, but nice in aroma.
