Taste at the Stanley Beer Hall. Pours a dark, red color, with a small, off-white head. Brilliant pie cherry aromas, with some brown sugar, lime, and caramel. Sweet and fruity, with a smooth, easy sour flavor. Quality and tasty.

Draft at Trails End Taproom in Colorado Springs, CO. Clear light gold color with a white head. Tastes like a mix of a cream ale and a rauchbier. I like the blend of smoke and cream.

Taste at Trail's End. Pours black, with a small, foamy, beige head. The aroma is black bread, pine, some cherry, caramel, and licorice. Sweet and yeasty, with a bit of a sharp bitterness. Mellow roast, nice balance.

Refrigerated 75 cL brown bottle poured into a cup. Medium brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is cherry, medium body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is cherry, dark fruit, and some walnuts.

Taste at the Stanley Beer Hall. Clear brown, with a big, frothy, tan head. The aroma is cocoa, rye, dust, floral notes, and pine. Sweet and syrupy, with an assertive bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy, chewy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty, but off style.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, vanilla, dark fruit. Medium body, wood, vanilla, light booze finish, very good.
