Tap at Bud. Cloudy, deep orange with a low, fine head. Tropical fruit nose, grapefruit, quite malty and biscuity. Rich but not too sweet. Great fruit flavors, big bitterness, full body. Excellent.

Tap at CBM Awajicho. Pours a clear amber with a one-fingered soapy egg-shell head that lasts throughout. Grapefruit pith, orange zest and caramel malt on the nose. Some resin and pine on the palate with more grapefruit. Soft carbonation with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Spiky bitterness on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Brave Horse IPA on 30 Oct 2015 at 19:09 - Score: 7

Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Brown-black color with a medium thick khaki head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing. Bourbon, oak and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of oaky bourbon, malt and coffee. The finish is oak with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can from MItsuya’s. Pours a clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Clean and crisp nose with grapefruit, papaya and light mango with some pine resin. Medium to light body with nice carbonation. Super drinkable and thirst-quenching. Good bitter and dry finish that leaves some fruit on the palate. Another great IPA from SE. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hopvine IPA on 05 Oct 2015 at 22:03 - Score: 7

Can from Beer Cats. Hopvine IPA 6.1% made with Columbus, Chinook & Citra hops, continues the winning streak Schooner Exact is on - I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every canned IPA of theirs I’ve had. The beautiful can helps boost my enjoyment too. The aroma on this is terrific, full of huge aromatic fruit & pine notes. The deep copper color is a beauty and it has a massive head of beige foam that lingers before leaving tons of lacing behind. Medium-light bodied with a slightly raspy mouthfeel & a semi-dry finish that gives it a bit of a bite. The taste has just enough malt sweetness to support the oodles & oodles of hops. Pine, citrus, passionfruit, prickly pear, this is one flavorful IPA.

Tap at Watering Hole. Clear deep orange to light amber with a nice lightly hopped nose: some grapefruit and resin. Taste is pretty similar. Not too carbonated. Good caramel malt character as well. Very well-balanced. Not overly hoppy despite the name. Nice grapefruit flavors and light bitterness on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hoppy Cats on 04 Sep 2015 at 19:25 - Score: 7

Tap at Hop-Scotch. Brown with a nice light beige pillowy head that lingers throughout. Caramel, raisin, some plum and molasses. Taste is more of the same. A very standard brown. Light bittering hops on the finish with good caramel and molasses present. Nothing bad about it, just a very normal brown ale. --- Beer merged from original tick of King Street Brown Ale on 28 Aug 2015 at 20:56 - Score: 6
