Description
The Pacific Northwest grows more apples than anywhere else in the country, so we make hard cider here.
Our ciderworkers use only Cascadia-grown whole apples, never juice from concentrate.
Cascadia cider is available in cans and on draft in the Portland area, with larger distribution coming soon.
Admin Note: Cascadia Ciderworkers United is owned by and brewed at Reverend Nat's but marketed and sold as a separate brand.

Nice enough but maybe lacking something. Fruity.

Tap @ Reverend Nats, Portland. Pours clear pale yellow, juicy grapefruit nose. Taste presents pure grapefruit juice, hints of tangerine, extremely light and juicy, vibrant sweet fruit juice, with no discernible apple notes.

Can from Beer Ma savored down in Nara. Cascadia Winter Hard Apple Cider 8.5% Brown with a fizzy beige head that quickly vanished, it has a spicy cinnamon aroma that immediately brought to mind a freshly baked apple pie with the medium to light body delivering the same. Quite good though I wish I’d had it a bit cooler... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Takanoya. Huge cinnamon in the nose, light apple. Dark brown color. Stanky spice flavor, sweet, strong, unpleasant really.

On tap at Reverend Nat's, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of juicy citrus notes upfront, especially oranges. Flavour is juicy and fresh, with loads of oranges and grapefruit, and a gentle acidity on the finish. Light residual sweetness from the fruits. Nothing overly complex but it's very refreshing and well-constructed.

Tap at Dig. Hazy pale gold color. Almost flat. Sweet apple nose, granny smith, some citrus fruits. Nicely fruity, not too sweet but good apples. Tasty and drinkable.

Cascadia dry hard Apple cider 6.9% can at Hanshin Dept. store. Bright deep gold pour with a dry tart Apple aroma. Good flavor of green apples, a bit of sweetness and the expected dry finish. Solid enough.

Can from BCS. Pours an apple juice colored yellowish gold with a tiny off-white head. Sweet sugar, green apple and pear with some noticeable yeast funk on the nose. Starts off sweet on the palate then has a funky character heading into the finish which has some light plastic, booze and metallic flavors. Really needs work.

Dark amber. Full of cinnamon, clove, apples, light brown sugar. Clove is the main player here. Apple skin, sweet apple, light brown sugar. Very enjoyable. Reminiscent of backed cinnamon apples with loads of clove.
